Just As I Thought I'd Got Out of Finishing My Ghost Story...

Before Christmas I wrote a post here about my plans to write a Christmas ghost story. What with festive preparations and blogging I only got as far as drafting an outline, and with a sigh realised it was going to be the end of this year before I would get back into it.

 Luckily, I stumbled across a call for anthology submissions by Spectral Press. What are they looking for? Christmas ghost stories, in the style of M.R. James or Dickens! Perfect! The deadline is June, so now I have no excuse.

Here is the link if you fancy giving it a go yourself. Now I know how Steven Moffat felt trying to come up with the Dr Who Christmas Special plot in the middle of summer. Better start praying for some inspiring snow while it's still winter, then.
